This weekend represents the return of two sporting ‘Legends’ in a match of timing coincidence. Much will be 
made of Frank Lampard, now playing for Manchester City, as he returns this Saturday to Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea Football Club and his former team. It’s due to be a big match for two reasons – firstly because it will be a title decider and secondly due to the significance of the high-regard and legendary-status held by Lampard with Chelsea fans as he returns to play at ‘the Bridge’.
Peugeot has seized the initiative to play its thrilling new TV Ad titled ‘The Legend Returns’ in homage to the 30th anniversary of the Peugeot GTi and saluting Frank in the process. This match is being broadcast live on Sky Sports at 5.30pm this Saturday, 31st January. The advert plays prior to kick off and will see the full edit of the GTi ad (1min 42secs) preceded by an eight second ‘Legends Return’ introduction by SKY: ‘The Bridge is not the only place to see a Legend return. Sit back and enjoy this exclusive viewing of another Legend returning. After 30 years, the Peugeot GTi is back.’ It is estimated that this showing will be watched by two million viewers – at homes and in pubs across the UK.
