A trio of top French street artists are using the new Toyota Aygo as the canvas to create unique artworks at the Paris motor show. Starting each day with a plain white Aygo, Monsta, Stom500 and Ekiem are recruiting help and ideas from visitors to the Toyota stand to design high-impact designs covering the car’s bodywork and windows. The creative buzz is rooted in Aygo’s great customisation options and its “go fun yourself” character.
Customers don’t have to be artistically gifted to give their Aygo a distinctive look, as Toyota provides a wealth of colour and finish options for bodywork styling elements (the front X section, rear bumper insert and A-pillar extensions), wheels and interior trims. Recognising the “want-it-now” feeling people have about their new cars, Toyota has set up a special centre in the UK to add the customisation features, minimising the wait time.
New Aygo is one of Toyota’s featured models at the Paris motor show, joining the hydrogen-powered Fuel Cell Sedan and, making its world debut, the C-HR crossover concept. The show continues until 19 October.
